Mark Wilde and Helen Sanderson's partnership has entranced audiences with their intimate blend of voice & guitar. Graduating from the Royal College of Music as major prize winners, they are now considered to be the UK's leading tenor and guitar exponents, and are becoming renowned for their moving interpretations of works in this genre.
Their extensive repertoire spans the 16th Century to the present day, but their particular affinity is with British Song, performing original song cycles by Britten, Walton, Tippett, Dodgson and Berkeley.
Complimenting these works, they draw from the rich repertoire of the 'Golden Age' of Tudor lute song composers, the works of the 19th Century guitarist composers, and many of their own arrangements, including a selection of Lieder by Franz Schubert, who composed many of his songs using the guitar.
